Hi. I am trying to sync my iPod Touch with my Nexus 7. I have followed the instructions on this site for setting up an exchange account and that all seems to have gone through ok. What I don't understand, is; does synchronisation now happen automatically, or do I need to do something more to make it happen? Any help very gratefully received.

That depends on your email and your settings... Go to Settings=>Mail, Contacts, Calendars and tap Fetch New Data You can turn "Push" on so your data is fed to your device automatically, or choose another setting for incremental or manual.

Regardless of setting, you can always refresh by swiping down within the email app.

Since you indicated an exchange setup, that should do it. If you set up Gmail (or other email) via IMAP though, you can only "fetch".

I hope this helps!
