emails going to different account

Hi Rebecca,

If Outlook is downloading your yahoo emails then you could just turn off the automatic send receive.

To do this open Outlook and

1. On the “Tools” menu, click “Options”
2. The Options window opens.
3. Click the “Mail Setup” tab.
4. Click the “Send/Receive” button.
5. Make sure that the boxes are unchecked for “schedule automatic send/receive” as in the image below.
6. Click "Close"
7. Click "OK"

You will still be able to use your contacts and this option has the benefit that you can still manually download your emails if you ever need to, by clicking the send receive button.

Alternatively if you will never want Outlook to download your emails then you can remove the email account all together, to do this:

1. On the “Tools” menu, click “E-mail Accounts”.
2. Select “View or change existing e-mail accounts”, and then click “Next”.
3. Click the e-mail account you want to delete, and then click “Remove”.
4. Click “Finish”.

This will stop Outlook downloading your emails but it won’t affect your contacts so you will still be able to use them
